Step out of your cabin and into one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse ecosystems. La Cusinga Lodge offers guests direct access to a network of well-maintained private nature trails that wind through our fully protected rainforest reserve, part of the greater Pacific Biological Corridor.

These scenic trails guide you through primary and secondary forest, past towering trees, hidden waterfalls, medicinal plants, and panoramic ocean vistas. Along the way, it’s common to spot howler monkeys, toucans, sloths, coatis, and an incredible variety of birds and butterflies.
