Every region in Costa Rica is so unique that it would take us years to know and understand it to it fullest. Each corner hides treasures never seen before, an intimate web of events and relationships that can be lived are so varied and subtle that a visitor would be surprised that how a small country can show so much life; so many treasures. Only those that decide to know this country very nearby can finally understand and know the secrets of this place with landscapes that no painter can recreate; towns with varied and gentile residents of diverse origins, besides their different roots. No matter the differences among the regions, there is something that joins us together, it is a feeling that awake in all us to know and to feel of the nature. Since many years ago, the resident of this land has had an instinct of ownership and of respect for the nature. It is the feeling that is sowed in the hearts of those who, in a visionary act, has founded La Cusinga with the only desire of protecting this earth piece that God has given to us. That gift is been shared with many people that, like us, share the desire to conserve and to protect this beautiful region. The Cusinga is, therefore, spokesman of the conservation and of the development of a productive area that wants to live from the tourism, but of the ecological tourism. We aspire to transform our influence area into a great living museum, where every visitor, ticos and strange visitors, can learn of the nature as well as of people that inhabits it.  |
