This 1-4 hours trail will take you across the road, uphill into reforested pastures, secondary and primary forest. You will need to cross a stream or two, so expect to get your shoes wet. Here you will see our oldest plantation and also the large patch of primary rainforest that has been around for centuries. Also it is the best place to see the wild pigs, small felines, monkeys, and lots of birds. As in any forest most wild animals will smell you first, so it is not guarantee to see all the animals all the time, but you will see many species and you will be in the middle of our reforestation projects and the main forest.
There are a few service roads leading to the different reforested areas, so we recommend that you walk this trail with one of our guides. The trail goes to the hills above the property then back down to the lodge.
